Himalayan salt was created by the evaporation of ancient oceans millions of years ago and preserved in a clean environment surrounded by snow, ice and lava, protected from pollution and toxins.
It is mined and washed by hand and dries naturally in the sun, so it contains no additives and is therefore considered “the purest salt”.
Its pink colour is due to its rich composition of minerals and trace elements such as sulphate, magnesium, calcium, potassium, potassium bicarbonate, potassium chromate, boron, strontium and fluoride.
