Mavrotragano is an endangered variety, which is scattered in the vineyards of Santorini. Traditionally on the island it was used mainly for the aromatic and flavor enhancement of the traditional red sweet wine. It is a versatile variety which can produce a dry or sweet red wine of high quality and with a special personality.
The Mavrotragano of Sigalas winery has a deep red color, aromas of spices and red fruits of the forest, with rich and noble tannins, balanced acidity and a complex aftertaste!
