The dulse (Palmaria Palmata) is a red colored type of algae, hand-picked and dehydrated at low temperatures (within 38°C). It has a cartilaginous consistency and it has the typical taste of shellfish. You need to rehydrate and cook it for 15 minutes to serve as a side dish, or you can add it as an ingredient during the preparation of: soups, stews, croquettes, omelets, pasta, rice and couscous.
